It's been nearly a year since I left the comfort of the wilderness and descended into this mad cityscape. During that time I've experienced wonders best described as living fever dreams. A lesser man might have been driven mad by so many new contrivances thrust upon him thusly, but fortunately I am no lesser man. It hasn't all been struggle, though. This new age produces luxuries and conveniences any maharajah of old would covet. I'm not one to be caught up by material notions, but I must admit, several of these baubles caught my fancy and through shrewd bartering I've come to acquire them."But as I am a man of the hunt, possessing something is never as satisfying as chasing it, so I've decided to give these treasures away TO YOU, MY DEAR READERS, in a contest I've dubbed TRAPPER'S FAVORITE THINGS."

This week's #TrapperGift is a Gerber Gear Pack. Now I'm used to doing my cutting and chopping with a piece of chipped quartz or the dirty end of a broken bottle, so imagine my joy upon discovering a local business concern dedicated solely to the manufacture of slicing and chopping implements. It was love at first site and now I must share them with you. The gear pack includes:
