NUMBER 4 WILL SHOCK YOU
Friends, it's been a looooong winter. But as of Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 2:58 pm (PDT), it's officially spring. Here are 4 reasons why I'm so excited.
I've been a fan of the national pastime for — well, forever. So the start of spring always means warm weather, the crack of the baseball bat, and delicious, ball-field snacks.
There's nothing quite as satisfying as winning an epic battle against a monster river-dweller. Unless it's the first bite from one of my fresh 10oz beef jerky bags.
Sometimes a long walk in the woods is just what the doctor ordered. But if you're hungry, your doctor would probably order you to eat some lean protein, like my beef jerky made from top-quality cuts of round steak.
As the poet Alfred Tennyson once wrote, "In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love." Which has certainly been my experience. But I also find my thoughts turn towards snacking, which I realize has been an ongoing theme here.
Anyway... spring is great and I'm glad it's finally arrived. But also, beef jerky is delicious.
