HERE'S A 10oz BAG OF MY OLD FASHIONED BEEF JERKY
(MT. RANIER FOR SCALE)
tim•ber•line noun NORTH AMERICAN (on a mountain) the line or altitude above which no trees grow.
Mt. Ranier sits just 59 miles south-southeast of Seattle and at 14,411 feet, is the tallest mountain in Washington and the tallest peak in the Cascade Range. The timberline sits halfway up the slope at about 7,000 feet.
If you're one of the 10,000 or so people attempting to summit Mt. Ranier every year, you better bring along a bag or two of this lean protein snack. Because once you reach the timberline, you still have a looooong way to go.
