Campaign Puts Premium Beef Jerky Front and Center with College Football Fans

Forest Grove, Ore. – July 2021 – Old Trapper today announced a new deal as the 2021 Presenting Sponsor of Marty & McGee. The relationship extends to all 15 fall telecasts of Marty & McGee, which airs Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. ET on SEC Network and ESPN Radio.

Throughout the 2021 college football season, Marty & McGee will travel to game sites each week alongside the SEC Nation pregame show, expanding upon their select Saturday road shows from the 2019 college football campaign. Old Trapper’s sponsorship includes live endorsements during the show as well as logo and audio highlights of the Old Trapper branded “What’s Your Beef” tag phrase.

Hosts Marty Smith and Ryan McGee will offer live “riffs” about the Old Trapper product, emphasizing key features in an entertaining format that will incorporate their personalities to the sponsorship in an organic way. As Presenting Sponsor, Old Trapper commercials will also air during show breaks.

“We have always enjoyed Marty & McGee and the personality that the hosts bring to southern culture and college football,” said Robert Leary, Director of Marketing for Old Trapper. “College football fans are some of our most loyal customers and we wanted to support a show that speaks directly to them. Marty & McGee’s brand of humor and ongoing commitment to telling their audience how good Old Trapper is during their shows makes for an excellent collaboration.”
