FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“Rapid growth and new marketing initiatives call for big surprises at 2018 show.”
Forest Grove, Oregon. May 15, 2018 - Old Trapper Smoked Products will be an exhibitor at the National Confectioners Association’s Sweets & Snacks Expo May 22nd - 24th in Chicago, Illinois. Billed as a one-stop shop for convenience store buyers to find new snack products, stay ahead of market trends, and discover pre-trend products, the Sweets & Snacks Expo will bring more than 800 exhibitors displaying more than 2,000 products together in front of thousands of attendees over the event’s three days.
Elaborate New Display Will be a Showstopper
During the event, Old Trapper Smoked Products will reveal its new trade show display, which is an actual replica of the Old Trapper’s forest cabin. Constructed of real Pacific Northwest timber, the imposing two-story display is designed to highlight the brand’s authentic heritage and to dominate the showroom floor in the same way Old Trapper’s products are driving growth in the meat snack category.
Expo attendees who visit the booth can sample Old Trapper products, preview branded display racks, and watch clips of the Old Trapper’s hilarious adventures on multiple ultra hi-def flat-screen monitors positioned throughout the booth, including one massive screen measuring more than 120 inches mounted on the display’s exterior. Expo attendees will be able to locate the new booth with ease by looking for its smoking chimney stack towering over the sales floor, which also serves as an ingenious reminder of Old Trapper’s delicious, real wood-smoked flavor.
Investing in Continued Growth
For Hans Evenson, Old Trapper’s vice president of sales, the new high-profile booth signals the company’s emergence as a high-level player in the consumer packaged goods market.
“Over the last five years, we’ve seen demand for our products explode exponentially in all corners of the country,” Evenson said. “We’re no longer content being the northwest’s favorite jerky brand. Instead, we want to take our rightful place as the best beef jerky manufacturer in America. Our new booth is a symbol of this confidence and an investment that will help our retailers sell more of our product.”
